Sharon’s primary objective is to build and facilitate staff training that meets the exact needs and expectations of her clients. Developing essential workplace soft-skills is what her training is all about.  Sharon’s motto is…There can be no professional development without personal growth.

Sharon M. Downing is the owner of Impact America Educational Services, Inc.  She is a Workforce Improvement Specialist with over 14 years of experience in developing and directing customized leadership and non-leadership training initiatives nationwide.  Sharon is also a nationally recognized Handwriting Analyst.  Her services are utilized by private business to pre-screen employees.  She also conducts handwriting analysis lectures and workshops.

Sharon has gained recognition from the law enforcement community by developing nationally accredited police & dispatch training that focuses on emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, negotiation and mediation. Organizations including government, Native American, private business (technical & non-technical), law enforcement, healthcare, educational, church and many more continue to benefit from Sharon’s effective approach to staff development. Sharon’s clients also utilize her life-coaching services when a more intimate approach is needed. 

In August, 2011, Ms. Downing completed a 40 hour U.S. Department of Justice Crisis Intervention Training certification.  Ms. Downing is also a certified CPR and Mental Health First Aid Instructor.  In addition, Sharon is an active member of the Arizona Department of Behavioral Health’s Mental Health First Aid Steering Committee.  Also, Sharon is a member of Ready.gov, a national initiative designed to prepare our community to handle crisis situations.

Sharon’s training approach inspires, motivates and improves employee performance. In addition, Sharon utilizes her skills as a handwriting analyst to gain insight into diverse workplace personality styles and types.  Known as The Staff Whisperer, she is frequently asked to speak at professional development and leadership conferences nationwide.

Sharon is active in her community and frequently engages in fundraisers and outreach programs.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Also, she enjoys writing, singing, dancing, exercising and cooking.
